 Today in Cybersmart I learned about making effective and quality blog comments. Me and my buddy made this poster showing our ideas on how to make a quality blog comment

 

My Google Summit

 Today I and some of my reading group walked to the Google Summit at Hornby Primary School. I did 4 learning activities. The first one I did was animation hacks, it taught me how to make a body. The second one was scratch and they taught me how to move the cat. 

Then we had morning tea and played on the playground with my friend. The other one was biteable, and the last one was Codey Rocky which is a robot that can move and make faces.

Yellow-eyed Penguins

Classification

Yellow-eyed penguins also known as hoiho are species of penguins and are birds but cannot fly. They also have yellow eyes and are native to New Zealand.

Habitat

Yellow-eyed penguins live in the Southeast of South Island on the Banks Peninsula. Also on Stewart Island, Codfish Island, the Auckland Islands, and Campbell Island.

Diet

Yellow-Eyed Penguins eat red cod, small fish, sprat, Ahuru, blue cod, and opal fish. 

Appearance

The yellow-eyed penguins are 65 cm tall and weigh 5 to 6 kg.Yellow-eyed penguins are tall and heavy penguins. They have yellow eyes and have stripes that wrap around them through the eyes and around their head.The sides of their heads are a light brown also the back and the tail are a slate blue.Their throat and chins are brownish-black.They have an orange beak, white front,flippers and some pinkish feet.

Reproduction

Mating takes place in mid September or October.They will have two greenish white eggs it is about 75x55 mm in size.

 One day I was on a train and I saw 3 versions of myself

 Past -I was 5 years old going to my first visit to school with my big brother and left at morning tea 

 Present-I am 9 years old writing this story at gilberthorpe school with my little sister

 Future-I am 12 years old waking up for my first day of intermediate school.

Fox and Sheep

 One day Fox and Sheep were in class when Ms. Wilson exclaimed “Today is the day were having a test!”. Fox was agitated, He wasn’t paying attention to class except for now. 

When Ms. Wilson was handing out the test, Fox had an idea to cheat.

Fox was sitting right next to Sheep he decided for it to be him. Fox whispered, “Let me cheat on your test or else”.

 Sheep was the smartest kid in his class so he whispered to fox the wrong answers since Sheep knew he was very gullible. Fox was suspicious about it at first but then forgot about it.

 The next day the teacher marked all of the student's tests and was handing them out to the students. Fox was excited about his test, when Ms. Wilson handed out Fox’s test he was confused and furious about it.
